Anonymous book-collector buys a first print, first edition of Chinua Achebe’s Things Fall Apart for N1million

Nigerian poet and author, Lola Shoneyin announced that an anonymous book collector has bought a first print, first edition of Chinua Achebe’s ‘Things Fall Apart’ for N1million. The Secret Lives of Baba Segi’s Wives writer had on Sunday, February10th,  put the book, owned by her friend, up for sale.  Within few hours an anonymous buyer reportedly purchased it. Things Fall Apart was published in 1958 by William Heinemann.
