A sociocultural group, Oranmiyan worldwide, has congratulated Governor Gboyega Oyetola and his deputy Mr Benedict Alabi on their victory at the Supreme  Court .
Fielding questions from journalists  during the celebration rally immediately after Oyetola was declared, Director General of Oranmiyan group, Hon Olajide Sadiq on behalf of the members of the group expressed gratitude to God for vindicating Governor Oyetola , saying the will of the people had finally prevailed.
Sadiq who was highly excited with the outcome of the verdict, commended  the judgment of the apex court for ensuring that justice prevailed in spite of the bad politics played by the opposition.
Sadiq  further said that  verdicts of Court of Appeal and Supreme court had vindicated  Governor Oyetola, saying people came out en masse to cast their votes for APC during the 2018 gubernatorial election.
He noted that “those who had wished for a different outcome of the apex court verdict have failed woefully and they have a lesson to learn here, there is a natural limit to which you can stretch evil.”
” I feel elated and happy because we have been vindicated. The Supreme court judgement has vindicated us a patriotic citizens of the state and and we give glory to God for making the will of the people to prevail
“I have said it time without number that the judgment of the lower court that is tribunal was a purchased judgement and janakara judgement.
“The judgment was not supposed to come from people who understand law , people who were employed by the government to our judiciary because it is a clear departure from what President Buhari started.
“But we thank the judges of the appeal court and judges of the Supreme court because they have given us hope that judiciary is a place where we can go to seek redress. We thank God because we have been vindicated,” he added.
The DG urged the people of the state to remain calm just as he assured the people of the state of continued unprecedented development in the state.
