Conte says his exit talks are lies.
Chelsea Manager, Antonio Conte says reports claiming that he is willing to part ways with Chelsea are all lies.
Ex-Chelsea manager Gianluca Vialli recently claimed that Conte was looking forward to leaving Stamford Bridge with his employers also willing to let him go.
However, the Italian manager didn’t find those comments funny as he insists he hasn’t spoken to Vialli, his former teammate at Juventus in a long while.
He believes his comments have also sparked more rumours about his future in London.
Conte said: “It’s not true, it’s not true. Gianluca is a friend but I am not talking with him for one year maybe.
“It’s not true. It’s very difficult for me but since this season [started] I am listening to a lot of speculation about my future and I am hearing a lot of people talking about my future.
“I am reading a lot of speculation about my future but [this has been] since the start of the season, not now.
“The only thing that is true is that I am committed to this club. I have a contract with this club. I work very hard for this club. This is the only thing that is true. The other situations are not true.”
Conte also revealed he won’t be dwelling on speculations about his future as his immediate focus is overturning the poor form of the blues.
He described last week’s loss to Tottenham – their third in four games as a bad defeat but will be targeting a win against West Ham who are battling for their survival in the league.
“We want to try and get three points. It’s a London derby. For us, it’s an important game to try to have an opportunity to reach a place in the Champions League.
